CALLING FOR ICE OUT OF MN
Minnesotans came together in moral reflection and action to stand together against the actions of the federal government against the state of Minnesota. The ICE “surge” that cost the life of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti violated the Constitutional and human rights of Americans and our neighbors. Minnesotans collectively decided it was time to suspend the normal order of business to demand immediate cessation of ICE actions in our state, accountability for federal agents who have caused loss of life and abuse to Minnesota residents, and call for Congress to immediately intervene.
WHY TRUTH & FREEDOM
A free and democratic people depend upon our leaders being rooted in the truth. Repression depends on lies. Freedom depends on a shared Truth.
WHAT HAPPENED ON JANUARY 23rd?
Hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans took action in a unified, statewide pause in daily economic activity. Over 700 businesses closed, tens of thousands of Minnesotans took to the streets and the airport, all in unified, non-violent action.

Business for Democracy Pledge
During Operation Metro Surge, while Minnesotans and Small Business Owners stepped up, yet big corporations with the most power and wealth stayed quiet for too long as our state faced attacks.
Now, ahead of the 2026 elections, Minnesotans are calling on business leaders to sign the “Business for Democracy” pledge to commit to standing up for free and democratic elections while committing to using all of the power and influence they hold to make sure our state & country are places where all people have an equal & free say in building our future.

WHAT MINNESOTANS ARE DEMANDING.
ICE must leave Minnesota now.
Any officer who kills a civilian must be held legally accountable. That starts with legitimate investigations and charges by local officials.
Shut down Trump’s ICE. No additional federal funding for ICE in the upcoming Congressional budget and ICE should be investigated for human and Constitutional violations of Americans and our neighbors.
We call upon all corporations to become 4th Amendment businesses, cease economic relations with ICE and refuse ICE entry or using their property for staging grounds, and lobby congress to freeze funding for ICE/DHS.
